Terms of Service

1. About Palma

Palma ("we," "us," or "our") is a community-powered all-inclusive resort discovery platform operated by Skolara. By creating an account or using Palma, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. User Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Palma account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Community Content — Ratings & Reviews

When you submit ratings, reviews, or written notes on Palma, you affirm that your content is honest, based on your personal experience, and does not contain false or misleading information. We reserve the right to remove content that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be fraudulent, spam, or in violation of these terms.

4. Photo Uploads — Content Guidelines

By uploading a photo to Palma, you confirm all of the following:

• You have the right to share it. You took the photo yourself, or you have explicit permission from the copyright owner to share it publicly.
• It is appropriate for all audiences. Photos must not contain nudity, sexual content, graphic violence, hate symbols, self-harm depictions, or any other material that would be considered inappropriate for a general travel audience.
• It is relevant to the resort. Photos should depict the resort property, facilities, food, scenery, or activities — not unrelated personal content.
• No identifiable individuals without consent. If your photo clearly shows another person's face, you confirm you have their consent to share the image publicly.
• No commercial promotion. You are not being compensated by the resort or any third party to upload or promote specific content.

All photos are automatically screened by an AI content moderation system before upload. Photos that pass automated screening are then reviewed by our team before appearing publicly on the platform. We reserve the right to reject any photo for any reason, including quality, relevance, or community standards.

5. License to Your Content

You retain ownership of photos and reviews you submit. By uploading content, you grant Palma a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote that content within the Palma platform and in marketing materials related to Palma. We will never sell your content to third parties.

6. Affiliate Links & Transparency

Palma earns commissions when you click "Book Direct" links and subsequently book a stay through those links. This is how we keep Palma free for users. Affiliate relationships do not influence resort rankings, ratings, or the content of user reviews. We only list resorts that meet our quality standards and for which we have verified affiliate partnerships.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit fake, paid, or incentivized reviews or ratings
• Upload photos that violate the content guidelines in Section 4
• Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or abuse the platform
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Use Palma for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent

8. Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any user-submitted content at any time, with or without notice, if we determine it violates these terms or our community standards. If your content is removed, you may contact us at support@skolara.dev to request a review of that decision.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Palma is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Resort information including prices, amenities, and policies may change and we cannot guarantee accuracy. Always verify details directly with the resort before booking.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Palma after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
